introducing the SugarCube.
payloads that fit in your pocket. and your budget.
sweetening payload standards.
Lowering the cost of space access starts with decreasing the payload minimum size and weight requirements. That's why we created the SugarCube. The SugarCube comes in three different sizes:
SugarCube (3 cm x 3 cm x 3cm x 48g)
SugarCube (6cm x 6cm x 6cm x 384g)
SugarCube (10cm x 10cm x 10cm x 1.33kg)
We understand that not all payloads will fit in these cubic form factors so feel free to combine any number of SugarCubes into the shape that's best for you.
your flat rate box to space.
From diamond rings to diamond transistors, whatever fits, ships. We'll even send you a 3D printed enclosure for your payload if you don't have your own. Just place your SugarCube in the box it came in and send it back for launch.
go for launch.
Once we receive your payload, we'll integrate it into Sugarhouse 1, our launch vehicle, and make sure everything is working the way it should before launch. You'll receive updates throughout that entire process.
On launch day, make sure to come back to our website to watch the livestream of the launch! Sugarhouse 1 will carry your SugarCube to 25km past the boundary of space for a 5 minute microgravity experience. Upon recovery of the vehicle, you'll receive another notification letting you know that your payload has safely returned back from space.
back in your hands.
Once Sugarhouse 1 is back at Sugarhouse HQ after launch, your payload will be removed, inspected, and sent back to you.
Launching something to space doesn't need to be difficult. The SugarCube is here to make that possible. We can't wait to see what you launch!
